Time for perhaps the best portrait I have ever seen on Flickr. Of course, the model is stunning in her celtic beauty, and her eyes are like magnets pulling you into the photograph. However, the photographer has played a crucial role in making this into a real masterpiece. That magnificent cap really contributes to the mysterious feeling, the crop is brilliant, as is the composition (another marvellous example why it is such a good idea to pay attention to the rule of thirds). And the almost monochromatic feeling gives further emphasis to the face, whilst maintaining a warmth that a black and white version would not have had. I bow deeply for the mastery of fellow Flickr member scylla2008.
