The guitar lesson

Steven Wilson is rapidly approaching the level of Peter Gabriel in my estimation of his artistic qualities. He is the frontman of the greatest prog band still recording (Porcupine Tree), but also finds time for a series of side projects. One of these is his release of singles, containing covers of famous or less famous songs. The guitar lesson, the fourth in the series, is a cover from a rather obscure song by a rather obscure Scottish artist, Momus. The original is from Momus' 1989 album Don't stop the night. The lyrics are very disturbing in decribing an encounter between a guitar teacher and his 12 year old female student, with clearly pedophilic overtones. I would love one day to hear the original, but the Wilson cover is excellent.
Art Rock score: 9/10 (very strong song, one of 650 best songs of all time)
