Staelesque abstract

If you keep your eyes open, you can spot abstract themes for photography all around you. This one originally dates back to 2007, and is actually a close up of an old door in Amsterdam that was about to get repainted. It very much reminds me of the art of Nicolas de Stael, one of my wife's favourite painters (see also next entry).
