Cecil Beaton

I came across this beautiful portrait of the attractive British actress Dorothy Tutin in the intriguingly named and very much worthwhile blog If Charlie Parker Was a Gunslinger, There'd Be a Whole Lot of Dead Copycats. High time to pay hommage to the photographer responsible for it, Englishman Cecil Beaton (1904-1980), who had featured before in my blog before last year's purge. Rightly famous for his portraits, fashion and war photography. More on Beaton in the wikipedia article linked to below.
