A street in Berlin

Another post fitting for the Berlin theme of today. Almost a year ago, the German expressionist painter Ernst Ludwig Kirchner (1880-1938) featured for the first time in this blog after the re-start. He was one of the founders of the art movement The Bridge. People in streets is a theme that recurs frequently in his work, including this elegant Berlin street scene painted in 1913.
