
I am not a particular fan of Spain's surrealist Salvador Dali (1904-1989), but this is one of his best paintings, and very fitting for today's main theme (moreover, Marc's masterpiece Tiger has already featured in the blog). To give it its full title Fifty Abstract Paintings Which as Seen from Two Yards Change into Three Lenins Masquerading as Chinese and as Seen from Six Yards Appear as the Head of a Royal Bengal Tiger was made in 1963.
