Today the Dutch traditionally celebrate Sinterklaas, the day that Saint Nicholas (Sinterklaas, or Sint) comes to every house and gives presents to the children. Over the past few months, there has been a lot of controversy here about the movie depicted in the great poster shown above: Dick Maas' horror version of the story. Especially the display of these posters everywhere, with the fear that young children would get confused. In the end a judge had to rule that it was OK for the posters to be used in public. I have not seen it yet, but I will surely watch it on TV in a few years time.
