Night of hunters

The most impressive new album I have heard in many years - Tori Amos' first excursion into the dreaded pop/rock/classical crossover territory, with a song cycle based on classical themes and with typical classical instrumentation (and published on the most famous classical music label. Deutsche Grammophon). And unlike almost everyone else, she pulls it off (the other great example, coming from the other side, is Anne-Sofie von Otter's For the stars) - I keep on playing this masterpiecve. The linked article gives a great review of the album, including a list of all the classical composition used for this album.
