Woman with blue hat

Well-known albeit a far cry from being one of the most famous Dutch painters - yet, a personal favourite of mine. Kees van Dongen (1877-1968) was one of the few foreign elements in the predominantly French Fauves movement. In particular his portraits of women, often with special hats, stand out.
