Ripped in April

A selected overview of culture stars relevant to my own tastes who passed away this month. Rest in peace.

Davis Angel (62), British violin player in the Maggini Quartet. We have a dozen or so of their CD's, including the Naxos string quartet cycle by Peter Maxwell Davies.
J. Geils (71), American guitarist and name giver of the J. Geils Band. Their songs Centerfold and Freeze frame are on our car MP3 USB stick.
Clifton James (95), American actor. His most memorable role was the goofy Sheriff J.W. Pepper alongside Roger Moore in two James Bond films.
Erin Moran (56), American actress. Best remembered for her role as Joanie Cunningham on the sitcoms Happy Days and Joanie loves Chachi.
Jonathan Demme (73), American filmmaker, producer and screenwriter. He directed one of my all-time favourite moves, Silence of the lambs.
