When Georgia O’Keeffe went to Hawaii

In 1938, the pineapple giants Dole hired famous artist Georgia O’Keeffe for a promotion campaign, sending her to Hawaii on an all-expenses paid trip, with full artistic freedom to come back with paintings of whatever she decided.
