Abstracted architecture

In the previous post under this topic, I expressed my amazement that what I consider a rather average shot of mine made Flickr Explore, the 500 most interesting shots of the day. Well, here we have the opposite. I think this abstraction of a Shanghai building is one of the best shots I ever made. I love the abstract feeling of this architectural detail and the combination of lines and curves - as well as the optical illusion effects they cause. It got plenty of comments and faves - and failed to make Explore. The mind boggles.
