Airplane Synchromy in Yellow-Orange

Vintage airplanes are a niche interest of mine, and to see one depicted so beautifully in a painting is a great experience. This work from 1920 is by American artist Stanton Macdonald-Wright (1890 - 1973). According to the link he was a co-founder of Synchromism, an early colour-based mode of painting, which was the first American avant-garde art movement to receive international attention.
